Ongoing Support for DBT Graduates

Completing a full DBT Skills Training programme is a huge achievement, but keeping up that momentum after it ends can be difficult. Our DBT Graduate Group is designed to support you as you continue to grow, use DBT skills in everyday life and stay connected even after the DBT programme comes to an end.

This is a step-down, member-led group for clients who have completed the full 20-week DBT Skills Training Course and want ongoing structure, encouragement, and accountability as they continue to build their skills and improve their lives.

The group helps members:

• Keep up momentum after the programme ends

• Stay accountable to their values and goals

• Become more confident using skills independently

• Feel less isolated on their recovery journey

• Reduce the likelihood of slipping back into old, unhelpful patterns

The DBT Graduate Group costs £100 per month. This includes all weekly group sessions and access to the WhatsApp support group. There is no fixed end-date, so membership is open-ended for you to be a part of for as long as you need.

What Is the DBT Graduate Group?

The DBT Graduate Group is a weekly support group that offers a safe, understanding space to:

  • Check in with others who have completed DBT
  • Share challenges and successes
  • Reflect on we use DBT skills in everyday life

The group meets for one hour each week and has a WhatsApp group to help members stay connected between sessions.

Who is the Graduate Group for?

This group is open to those who:

  • Have completed a full 20-week DBT Skills Training Course
  • Are looking for ongoing DBT support
  • Want to keep making progress and reduce the risk of slipping back into old patterns

It’s particularly helpful for people who value peer support, shared understanding, and gentle structure rather than intensive therapy.

How Does the Graduate Group Work?

  • Weekly one-hour group session
  • Member-led format, supported by clinicians
  • WhatsApp group to stay connected and encouraged between sessions
  • Focus on reflection, skill use and shared learning
  • No fixed end date, and attendance is open-ended

This flexible structure allows members to remain involved for as long as they find the group helpful.

“The sessions helped me managed and taught me about myself. I’ve left with awareness, validation and life changing information to manage my diagnosis.”

ADULT DBT FAQs

At the initial assessment, we will set up a treatment package that is right for you! This will take into consideration other commitments, budget, and clinical need. Only want group or 1:1? We will ask your preference at the assessment and set up a treatment package right for you!

The DBT group programme costs £2000 for the full 20 weeks (all 4 modules). If you want to do 1:1 sessions alongside the group, the full programme ranges from £200-£220 per week.

Studies have proven that online therapy is as effective as face to face therapy. Our clients tell us that online therapy is easier all round, with clients able to attend alongside work, childcare and other commitments!

We have a range of daytime, evening and week-end appointments to fit in with busy schedules.
